- Description
Combining the 60 mm flange with a 23-bit multi-turn absolute encoder, the Schneider Electric BCH18MD0133CF5C delivers 100 W and 0.32 N·m continuous stall torque at 1.1 A continuous stall current. Its 2.0 N·m holding brake locks the shaft when de-energized, and because the encoder is absolute, the axis does not need to re-home after every power cycle.

Selection Notes
This is the braked, absolute-feedback option on the 60 mm, 100 W frame: a 23-bit multi-turn encoder removes the homing move the incremental BCH18MD01332F5C needs, and the 2.0 N·m brake holds the shaft when the drive is off. Rotor inertia (0.22 kg.cm²) and net weight (1.05 kg) match the incremental-encoder braked variant, so the choice between the two comes down to whether the machine can tolerate re-homing after every power cycle. Continuous stall current is 1.1 A for Lexium 18 (LXM18) drive sizing, with 3.4 A maximum permanent current available for short accelerating moves. Medium inertia keeps this motor matched to load-heavy axes rather than fast, low-mass point-to-point cycling. Maximum mechanical speed is rated to 6000 rpm against the 3000 rpm nominal speed used above, leaving margin for brief overspeed during deceleration. IP67 sealing and the shared two-connector power/feedback interface mean this fully-optioned 100 W motor uses the same cabling and enclosure design as the rest of the Easy Lexium 18 BCH18 range, whichever encoder or brake combination is fitted.
