- Description
The Schneider Electric BCH18LH2033CF6C is a low-inertia Easy Lexium 18 BCH18 servo motor rated for 2.0 kW continuous power with an integrated holding brake. It produces 6.37 N·m nominal torque at 3000 rpm (6000 rpm maximum mechanical speed), draws 13.2 A continuous stall current, and combines a 23-bit multi-turn absolute encoder with a 100 mm flange.

Selection Notes
This brake-equipped, multi-turn-encoder BCH18 variant sizes to the 2.0 kW LXM18 servo drive at the same 13.2 A continuous rating as its siblings in this power class. The 6.5 N·m holding brake holds a vertical or overhung axis in place when the drive is disabled, and the multi-turn absolute encoder means the controller never loses position reference across that power cycle — no homing move is needed on restart. Choose this combination over the incremental-encoder, brake version when the application cannot tolerate a re-homing step after every stop. Peak stall torque of 19.1 N·m gives headroom for acceleration bursts above the 6.37 N·m continuous rating, and rotor inertia of 2.74 kg.cm² matches the incremental-encoder, brake version of this frame. The 100 mm flange, 22 mm shaft and 2-connector male/female electrical interface are shared across the whole 2.0 kW BCH18 line, so mechanical mounting does not change between brake and encoder options.
