- Description
Rated for 100 W at 3000 rpm with 0.32 N.m of continuous stall torque, the BCH16LB01330F5C2 is a light inertia Schneider Electric Lexium 16D BCH16 servo motor built around a 40 mm flange and a 2500 ppr incremental encoder. Paired with an LXM16D drive on a 220 V three-phase supply, it is housed in an IP65 enclosure with an integrated holding brake.

Selection Notes
Size the matching LXM16D drive to the 1 A continuous stall current and 2.7 A maximum Irms rating of this motor, not to the flange size alone. The 2500 ppr incremental encoder has no absolute position memory, so the controller needs a reference or homing move after every power-up. At light inertia (0.047 kg.cm2 rotor inertia) in a compact 40 mm frame, it suits small, fast-indexing axes such as pick-and-place or dispensing heads rather than high-inertia loads. The integrated 0.32 N.m brake holds the 8 mm shaft at standstill when drive power is removed, which matters on vertical or gravity-loaded axes; on a horizontal axis with the load otherwise constrained, the brake-less variant in the same frame saves weight and cost.
