The Schneider Altistart ATS22D88Q is an ATS22-series motor soft starter rated for 88 A output (Ie) and sized for typical motor installations up to 45 kW at 400–440 V (and 22 kW at 230 V). It is designed for three-phase supply voltages from 230 to 440 V (supply limits 195–484 V) and is suited to standard industrial motor loads such as pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors. This model provides torque-controlled starting (start-with-torque with current limited to 3.5 × In) for improved handling of high‑torque or non-zero-voltage starts, and includes an internal bypass to reduce heat dissipation and audible noise during continuous running. ATS22D88Q also offers motor monitoring and protection features — including a PTC probe input for motor thermal sensing and integrated motor thermal protection — and supports communications via RS-485/Modbus for remote monitoring and configuration (SoMove compatibility). Factory current setting is 81 A and the unit is intended for vertical mounting with forced convection cooling and operation up to 40 °C without derating.
