Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB)

DEMO

Molded case circuit breakers (MCCB) from ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens protect feeders, motors and distribution boards from about 10 A up to 1600 A. The range covers 3-pole and 4-pole breakers with fixed and adjustable trip units, with more than 1,800 products including accessories. Stoklink ships worldwide from Turkey and quotes project volumes on request.

What's in this range

How to choose

  • Frame size and rated current, with the trip unit set to the load current.
  • Rated breaking capacity (Icu and Ics) at the system voltage, above the prospective short-circuit current.
  • Trip unit: thermal-magnetic for simple feeders, electronic (LSI or LSIG) where selectivity is needed.
  • Poles: 3P or 4P according to the neutral arrangement. Standard: IEC 60947-2.

FAQ

What is the difference between an MCCB and an ACB?

An MCCB is a compact molded-case breaker, typically used from tens of amperes to 1600 A. An ACB is a larger, often draw-out breaker for main incomers from 630 A upward.

What do Icu and Ics mean on an MCCB?

Icu is the ultimate breaking capacity. Ics is the service breaking capacity, the share of Icu after which the breaker stays fit for service.

Do you export MCCBs and their accessories?

Stoklink ships worldwide from Turkey on EXW terms. Lead time depends on distributor stock, so request a quote with your part numbers and quantities.
