The Siemens 6RA8095-4DV62-0AA0 is a SINAMICS DCM armature converter for four-quadrant DC drives, using a (B6)A(B6)C anti-parallel thyristor bridge pair with a D420/2000 field rectifier. It takes a 400 V 3AC supply at up to 1660 A controllable and delivers 420 V DC at up to 2000 A to the motor armature, covering motoring and regenerative braking in both directions of rotation.

The second anti-parallel bridge in the (B6)A(B6)C configuration lets this converter reverse armature current without a contactor, so it fits reversing duty such as cranes, hoists, and mill drives that need motoring and regenerative braking in both directions of rotation. That second bridge is why this unit weighs more and outputs a lower 420 V DC than the single-bridge two-quadrant version rated for the same 2000 A current. For drives that only ever run one direction, the two-quadrant B6C converter is a simpler, lighter choice; for higher armature current in the same reversing family, the 3000 A four-quadrant variant is the next step up.
