The Siemens 6GK5798-2LP10-2AA6 LP798-2N is a lightning protection element with N-Connect female/female connections, using quarter-wave technology to shunt surge energy on SCALANCE W antenna lines from 2 to 6 GHz. It adds no more than 0.2 dB of insertion loss, carries an IP68 rating, and operates from -40 to +85 degrees C indoors or outdoors.

This is a quarter-wave protector, so it grounds surge energy by resonant design rather than a gas-discharge tube, which keeps the 0.2 dB insertion loss low enough to fit inline on the same antenna feed without a noticeable link-budget hit. IP68 and the -40 to +85 degrees C range let it sit outdoors at the antenna end of the run, where lightning protection is most needed, instead of only at an indoor equipment rack.
