The Siemens 6GK5793-8DK00-0AA0 (ANT793-8DK) is a SCALANCE W IWLAN antenna with vertical-horizontal dual polarization and 23 dBi gain in the 5.15-5.875 GHz band, concentrated into a tight 9° by 9° directional beam. Rated IP67 and -45 to +70°C, its 371 x 371 mm panel withstands a 389 N wind load at 220 km/h and mounts on a wall or mast through two N-female connectors for the longest-range point-to-point links in the series.

Selection Notes
The 9° by 9° beamwidth and 23 dBi gain on the ANT793-8DK give it the longest reach in the SCALANCE W antenna line, at the cost of alignment tolerance during mast installation. Its 40 dB crosstalk attenuation and 35 dB front-to-back ratio keep the dual-polarized ports isolated enough for MIMO operation over a long point-to-point hop. At 2.5 kg and 371 x 371 mm, the mounting hardware and mast rating need to account for the panel's size and its 389 N wind load before choosing it over a smaller, lower-gain antenna in the same series.
