Circular polarization and the 90-degree sector pattern make this Helix antenna a match for RCoax leaky-feeder systems in tunnels or aisles, where reflections would otherwise cause a polarization mismatch with a linear antenna. The 2.5 dB front-to-back ratio limits gain picked up from behind the antenna, so orientation toward the coverage zone matters more than with an omnidirectional type. Pick the ANT792-6MN omnidirectional antenna instead for open-area coverage where a single sector direction is not sufficient.
