The Siemens SCALANCE SC622-2C (6GK5622-2GS00-2AC2) is an industrial security appliance combining a stateful-inspection firewall with NAT/NAPT address translation and an OpenVPN client for SINEMA RC remote access, in a compact 60 x 145 x 125 mm DIN-rail housing. It supports PROFIsafe network separation and runs from a redundant 24 V DC supply rated 9.6-31.2 V.

Redundant 9.6-31.2 V DC feeds with an independent 9.36 W draw on each input let it stay powered through a single supply-loop fault. Stateful-inspection firewall plus NAT/NAPT and an OpenVPN client for SINEMA RC cover perimeter filtering, address translation and secure remote access in one unit, without a separate VPN gateway.
