This is the dual-supply AC version of the integrated-Layer-3 XR526-8C: two independent 230 V AC feeds, so routing and switching keep running through a single circuit loss. Choose it for PROFINET backbone positions where the 2x SFP+ 10 Gbit/s uplinks carry traffic from several access switches and a supply fault cannot be tolerated; pick the single-supply AC or 24 V DC variants where the cabinet only has one clean feed.
