The Siemens SCALANCE XR326-8EEC (6GK5334-2TS00-2ER3) is a 19-inch rack-mount managed Layer 2 Ethernet switch with conformal-coated circuit boards, 26 RJ45 ports up to 10 Gbit/s, and 8 SFP+ ports, built as a PROFINET IO device with an integrated redundancy manager. It runs on a 24 V DC supply (19.2-31.2 V range) with redundant terminal-block inputs and operates fanless from -40 to +70 degrees C.

Selection Notes

Conformal coating on the circuit boards is the only functional difference from the standard XR326-8 (24V DC) variant, giving the board protection against condensation, dust, and corrosive atmospheres in outdoor cabinets or chemical/marine environments. Choose this EEC variant over the uncoated XR326-8 when the installation site has humidity or airborne contaminants beyond the standard IP20 enclosure's tolerance; port count, power input, and switching specs are otherwise identical.
