The Siemens SCALANCE 6GK5208-0RA00-2AC2 (XC208G PoE) is a managed Gigabit PROFINET switch with eight 10/100/1000 Mbit/s RJ45 ports, six of them PoE (four IEEE 802.3at 30 W, two 802.3bt 60 W). It delivers up to 120 W of PoE power across those ports from a redundant 24 V DC infeed, and is certified to IEC 62443-4-2 with PROFINET conformity class B.

The 6GK5208-0RA00-2AC2 puts eight Gigabit ports in one unit, two of them plain data-only, so it fits a cell that needs both PoE cameras or access points and a couple of standard controller or PC drops without a second switch. The 24 V DC infeed matches a cabinet already standardized on 24 V control power, and the 120 W PoE budget across six ports covers a typical mix of 802.3at and 802.3bt devices. Choose the 54 V variant instead when the plant runs a 54 V bus or when the combined PoE draw needs the larger 240 W budget that voltage provides.
