The Siemens SCALANCE 6GK5206-2RS00-2AC2 (XC206-2G PoE) is a managed Gigabit PROFINET switch with six 10/100/1000 Mbit/s RJ45 PoE ports (four IEEE 802.3at 30 W, two 802.3bt 60 W) and two 10 Gbit/s SFP+ slots. It delivers up to 120 W of PoE power distributed across all ports from a redundant 24 V DC supply, and is certified to IEC 62443-4-2.

The 6GK5206-2RS00-2AC2 runs its PoE budget from a 24 V DC infeed and delivers 120 W across all six PoE ports, so it fits a cell already standardized on 24 V control power where the switch feeds cameras or wireless access points alongside the DIN-rail controller. Two 802.3bt ports at 60 W each cover high-draw PTZ cameras or PoE lighting that a 802.3at-only switch cannot power. Choose the 54 V variant instead when the plant runs a 54 V infeed or when the combined PoE draw needs the larger 240 W budget that voltage enables; both share the same port count, SFP+ uplinks and PROFINET conformity class B.
