The XC108 is an 8-port, all-copper 10/100 Mbit/s unmanaged switch - choose it over a fiber-equipped variant when every device in the segment is within standard RJ45 cable reach and no fiber uplink is needed. Redundant 24 V DC inputs and a signaling contact report a supply failure to a PLC without added hardware, and the -40...+70 °C rating keeps it usable in unconditioned cabinets.
