Selection Notes

The PRO designation and metal, IP65/67-sealed body distinguish this from a standard indoor M12 plug: it is the field-mountable connector for SCALANCE X208 PRO and ET 200 PRO/eco PN devices installed outside a cabinet. The D-coded 4-pole pinout keeps it limited to 10/100 Mbit/s PROFINET, not Gigabit; a Gigabit application needs an X-coded M12 variant instead. Ten reuses on the cut-and-clamp contacts means it can be reterminated during commissioning rework without ordering a new plug each time.
