Selection Notes
The 90° cable outlet routes the bus cable flat along the panel or DIN rail instead of straight out of the connector — pick this variant over a straight (180°) connector where panel depth is tight or the connector sits at the end of a row of closely mounted modules. The screw-locked FastConnect terminals accept 2-core PROFIBUS FC installation cable without a separate crimp tool, and the integrated switchable terminating resistor lets it close a segment end without a separate terminator plug.
Applications
Connecting PROFIBUS DP field devices, drives, and I/O stations to the bus trunk cable in panel-mounted automation systems where cable routing space above the connector is limited.
