The Siemens 6EP1961-2BA41 SITOP PSE200U is a 4-channel selectivity module that splits a single 24 V DC/40 A power supply into four individually protected 10 A outputs, so a fault on one branch trips only that channel instead of the whole supply. Each output's trip threshold is adjustable from 3 to 10 A via potentiometer, and a three-color LED plus a status signal per channel reports switched, manually off, or overcurrent-tripped state.

Selection Notes

Each of the four outputs has an independently adjustable 3-10 A threshold, so branch circuits with different load currents can each be tuned to trip on their own overcurrent instead of pulling down the shared 40 A input. Compared to protecting downstream loads with a single breaker on the main feed, this module isolates only the faulted branch while the other three channels stay live — relevant when several PLC racks or I/O stations share one 24 V DC supply and an unplanned shutdown of all of them is not acceptable. The remote reset input lets a controller re-enable a tripped output without local access to the module.

Used downstream of a central 24 V DC power supply to give each PLC rack, remote I/O station, or field device group its own protected, individually resettable branch circuit.
