The Siemens SITOP PSE200U 6EP1961-2BA31 is a 4-channel selectivity module that distributes a 24 V/12 A DC input across four individually monitored 3 A outputs, each with an adjustable overcurrent threshold from 0.5 to 3 A. It isolates a faulted branch within about 5 seconds on excess current while the other three channels stay powered, and reports per-channel status through a three-color LED.

Selection Notes

The PSE200U provides per-branch selectivity: a short circuit on one of the four 3 A outputs trips only that channel through its own current-dependent overload release, instead of pulling down the shared 12 A input bus. That makes it the right choice downstream of a single 24 V SITOP power supply feeding several independent I/O groups or field devices. Each channel's 0.5-3 A adjustable threshold can be tuned to the actual load current rather than left at the full 3 A rating, tightening fault detection, and the non-isolated remote reset input lets a channel be power-cycled without breaking the DIN-rail bus.
