The Siemens 6AU1400-1QA20-0AA0 is a 2 GB CompactFlash card for the SIMOTION D410-2 drive-based motion controller. It carries both the SINAMICS drive runtime software V5.x and the SIMOTION Kernel, making it the complete firmware medium for D410-2 operation. This card is not compatible with the earlier SIMOTION D410, D4x5, or D4x5-2 variants.

The 6AU1400-1QA20-0AA0 doubles the flash capacity of its 1 GB predecessor (6AU1400-1PA23-0AA0), both cards are cross-compatible for D410-2 but the 2 GB variant provides additional headroom for larger SIMOTION user programs and data logging. Select this card when upgrading a D410-2 unit that previously ran a 1 GB card or when the application's program memory footprint is approaching the 1 GB ceiling. Because the card ships with the current software version already loaded, it also serves as a replacement medium when the original card is corrupted — no separate firmware download step is required before commissioning.
