The Siemens 3RW5248-6AC14 is a SIRIUS 3RW52 general‑performance soft starter rated for 570 A (Ie) and intended for three‑phase motor applications on 200…480 V AC mains. At standard inline connection the unit covers motors up to 315 kW at 400 V; when used in an inside‑delta configuration it supports ratings up to 560 kW at 400 V. The control supply for the device is 110…250 V AC and the starter uses three‑phase control with soft ramp-up and ramp-down capability plus adjustable current limitation — features that reduce mechanical shock and limit inrush current for large pumps, compressors, conveyors and other heavy industrial drives. This SKU includes an integrated bypass contactor to reduce heat loss during run and provides built‑in motor overload protection with thermistor input capability and analog output functionality for remote monitoring. The unit is supplied in an IP00 enclosure and is engineered for continuous industrial use at a rated ambient of 40 °C without derating.
