The Siemens 3RW5236-6AC14 is a SIRIUS 3RW52 soft starter rated for 171 A nominal current and specified for a motor power of 90 kW at 400 V (direct/delta wiring). It accepts a mains supply voltage range of 200–480 V AC and is designed for 50/60 Hz industrial power systems. Typical motor compatibilities include three-phase asynchronous motors up to the stated 90 kW rating (with higher equivalent ratings when configured in inside-delta — 160 kW is commonly specified for inside-delta use). This unit uses standard soft-start control modes (ramp-up and ramp-down) and provides adjustable current limiting and soft-torque start/stop behaviour to reduce mechanical stress and inrush current in large pumps, fans, compressors and conveyor drives.
