The yellow-lidded polycarbonate housing is rated IP66/IP67/IP69/IP69K for washdown-exposed emergency stop points.

Selection Notes

Two independent NC contacts allow this station to break two separate safety circuits from a single button press, which is the reason to specify it over the single-contact XALK178 on machines with dual-channel safety wiring or two independent E-stop loops. Where one NC plus a monitoring NO signal is enough, the XALK178E covers that case instead.
