The Schneider Electric XALK178 is a complete Harmony XALK control station for emergency stop and emergency switching off, built around an unmarked 40 mm red mushroom-head push button with turn-to-release reset, wired 1NC. The yellow-lidded polycarbonate housing is rated IP66/IP67/IP69/IP69K, giving this station the durability for washdown-exposed emergency stop points.

Selection Notes

The turn-to-release reset and 1NC contact meet the ISO 13850 requirement that a stop command cannot be cancelled by simply re-pressing the button, which is why this is the baseline choice for a basic emergency stop point. For a dual-circuit interlock adding a monitored 1NO auxiliary, step up to the XALK178E; for a doubled 2NC output feeding two separate safety circuits, use the XALK178F.
