The Schneider Electric VZ18 is a shaft extension for TeSys Vario switch bodies V3 to V6, letting a door-mounted handle operate a switch body recessed 300-320 mm behind the door for V3-V4 bodies, or 330-350 mm for V5-V6 bodies. It provides the door interlocking function and is supplied as a set of one.

Select the VZ18 for the larger V3-V6 switch bodies at this depth range; its 8 x 8 mm shaft section is sized for the higher operating torque of these frames, so it is not interchangeable with the 6 x 6 mm VZ17 used on V02-V2 bodies even at a similar back/door distance.
