Schneider Electric TPRST065 TeSys Island TPRST 65A AC-3 30kW DOL Motor Starter Module

The Schneider Electric TPRST065 is a TeSys island motor starter rated 65 A at AC-3 for direct-on-line control of motors up to 30 kW at 400 V (80 A at AC-1, up to 690 V). Connected through a TPRBC bus coupler, it provides thermal overload, phase-loss, phase-unbalance, and ground-current protection with a 3.35-65 A adjustable thermal setting.

Selection Notes

At 65 A AC-3 / 30 kW, the TPRST065 is a mid-to-high current TeSys island starter using the larger 55 x 125 x 167 mm frame, which carries a 1000 A rated breaking capacity and a 900 A / 1 s short-time withstand current. The 3.35-65 A adjustable thermal range covers motor starting current without a separate overload relay, provided the upstream device is coordinated for that fault let-through. Move up to a higher-current island starter when the motor's AC-3 full-load current exceeds 65 A.
