- Description
The Schneider Electric RM35S0MW is a Harmony RM35-S speed control relay, detecting overspeed or underspeed from a 3-wire PNP/NPN, NAMUR, voltage or volt-free sensor input while powered from a 24-240 V AC/DC supply. It switches a single 5 A changeover contact with a 0.6-60 second inhibit delay on startup, in a 35 mm wide DIN rail housing.

Selection Notes
RM35S0MW accepts four different sensor wiring types - 3-wire PNP/NPN, NAMUR, 0-30 V voltage or a volt-free contact - on the same input, so the same part number covers proximity switches, inductive NAMUR sensors in hazardous-area interfaces, or a simple dry contact without changing hardware. The 0.6-60 s inhibit timer on energisation masks the slow ramp-up of a motor or conveyor at startup so the underspeed output does not nuisance-trip before the load reaches running speed. An immunity to supply microbreaks of up to 50 ms and an operating rate of up to 360 cycles per hour under full load let RM35S0MW ride through momentary sensor-supply dropouts without a false trip, useful on conveyor and fan applications sited near electrically noisy variable-speed drives.
