Selection Notes

RE48A uses a 48x48 mm panel-mount front plate on an 11-pin sub-base rather than the RE22's DIN-rail body, so pick it for door-mounted panels where the relay is serviced by pulling it from a socket. It gives 2 independent C/O contacts at 5 A each, versus RE22's single 8 A contact - choose RE48A when two flashing outputs are needed at once, such as separate indicator and alarm circuits, even at the lower per-contact rating.
