The MCSESM123F2LG0 is the Gigabit SFP variant of the Modicon Networking managed switch line — choose it over the 100 Mbps duplex-SC fiber variants (053/063/093/103 families) when the application needs Gigabit uplinks or the flexibility to fit copper or fiber SFP transceivers matched to the run. 4 SFP cages give more uplink or ring ports than the fixed 1–2 fiber ports on the other managed switches, at the cost of an extra 1 W per populated SFP port.
