The MCSESM103F2CS0H is the harsh, single-mode variant of the 8-copper/2-fiber switch family — pick it over the standard CU0 (0…60 °C, multimode) when the installation sees extended temperatures down to -40 °C or up to 70 °C, and when the fiber run exceeds the multimode range so single-mode's 30 km reach (9/125 µm) is needed. The conformal coating adds protection against humidity and contaminants that the standard-build switches do not carry.
