Schneider Electric LUCBX6B TeSys Ultra Advanced Control Unit 0.15-0.6 A 24 V AC Coil Motor Starter Module

The Schneider Electric LUCBX6B is a TeSys Ultra advanced control unit that plugs into an LUB12, LUB320, or LUB380 power base to form a complete TeSys U starter-controller for 3-phase motors up to 0.09 kW at 400 V. It covers an adjustable rated current Ir of 0.15-0.6 A with class 10 overload tripping, and runs on 24 V AC control power.

Selection Notes

At 0.15-0.6 A this is the smallest-current unit in the LUCB advanced control range, for sub-fractional motors below the LUCB1XFU's 0.35 A floor. Unlike the LUCBX6FU sibling, its thermal overload alarm needs an additional function module ordered separately; pick the 110-240 V AC/DC coil version instead if the panel's control transformer does not supply a 24 V AC tap for the starter's control terminals.

Applications

Very small fractional-horsepower 3-phase motor starters in machine-building and OEM panels built on a 24 V AC control bus, where modular TeSys U construction is already standardized. The compact plug-in module also suits panels with tightly packed DIN rail space.
