- Description
The Schneider Electric LUCB1XBL is a TeSys U advanced control unit providing adjustable thermal-magnetic motor protection from 0.35 to 1.4 A plus diagnostic outputs. Plugged into an advanced LUB120, LUB320, or LUB380 power base, it forms a starter-controller with Class 10 overload tripping, phase-failure sensing, earth-fault detection, a thermal-alarm signal via a LUFDA or LULC module, and a test pushbutton for 3-phase motors up to 0.25 kW at 400 V, controlled from a 24 V DC supply.

Selection Notes
The LUCB1XBL shares the LUCB1XB's 0.35-1.4 A diagnostic protection but runs from a 24 V DC control bus, matching the LU2B12BL/LU2B32BL/LU2B38BL reversing bases where reversing and overload diagnostics are both required. Alarm wiring runs through a local LUFDA module or a remote LULC module depending on where the signal needs to surface. Drop to the plain LUCA1XBL if the alarm output adds unnecessary wiring.
