- Description
The Schneider Electric LUCA32ES is a TeSys U standard control unit providing adjustable thermal-magnetic motor protection from 8 to 32 A. Plugged into a LUB32 or LUB38 power base, it forms a complete starter-controller with Class 10 overload tripping, phase-failure sensing, and earth-fault detection for 3-phase motors up to 15 kW at 400 V, controlled from a 48 V AC / 48-72 V DC supply.

Selection Notes
The LUCA32ES extends the 8-32 A, 15 kW band to a 48 V control bus, the middle option between the 24 V LUCA32B/BL and the 110-240 V LUCA32FU equivalent. Protection behavior, Class 10 tripping and the 15 kW rating at 400 V, is identical across all three voltage variants, so the choice comes down purely to what control voltage the panel already distributes. Pick the 24 V LUCA32BL instead if the reversing base in use is the DC-coil LU2B32BL.
