- Description
The Schneider Electric LUCA32BL is a TeSys U standard control unit providing adjustable thermal-magnetic motor protection from 8 to 32 A. Plugged into a LUB32 or LUB38 power base, it forms a complete starter-controller with Class 10 overload tripping, phase-failure sensing, and earth-fault detection for 3-phase motors up to 15 kW at 400 V, controlled from a 24 V DC supply.

Selection Notes
The LUCA32BL is the 24 V DC-coil version of the LUCA32B, same 8-32 A range and 15 kW rating at 400 V, and is also the version that pairs with the DC-coil LU2B32BL reversing power base. Its 80 mA sealed current draw is lower than the AC version's 90 mA, a minor consideration on DC control buses supplying many modules. The LUCA38BL is the next step up but only in a 24 V DC coil variant.
