The Schneider Electric LUCA32B is a TeSys U standard control unit providing adjustable thermal-magnetic motor protection from 8 to 32 A. Selection Notes

The LUCA32B tops out the 8-32 A band, fitting the LUB32's full 32 A rating while also plugging into the higher-current LUB38 base for coordination flexibility. Its 15 kW rating at 400 V matches the LUB32 base's own motor-power ceiling, so there is no protection margin lost by using this control unit at the top of its range. Move to the LUCA38BL if the motor's full-load current exceeds 32 A, noting that reference only ships with a 24 V DC coil.
