- Description
The Schneider Electric LUCA1XFU is a TeSys U standard control unit providing adjustable thermal-magnetic motor protection from 0.35 to 1.4 A. Plugged into a LUB12, LUB32, or LUB38 power base, it forms a complete starter-controller with Class 10 overload tripping, phase-failure sensing, and earth-fault detection for 3-phase motors up to 0.25 kW at 400 V, controlled from a 110-240 V AC / 110-220 V DC supply.

Selection Notes
The LUCA1XFU covers the same 0.35-1.4 A sub-fractional range as the LUCA1XB/BL/ES but runs its control circuit directly from 110-240 V AC or 110-220 V DC, avoiding a step-down transformer where the panel's control supply is already at that level. Operating time lengthens slightly (50 ms closing versus 60-70 ms on the lower-voltage versions), a minor factor outside fast-cycling duty. Use the 24 V LUCA1XB/BL instead on a 24 V control bus.
