  • Description

The Schneider Electric LUB32 is a TeSys U non-reversing power base rated 32 A at up to 440 V AC, forming the power-contact stage of a modular motor starter-controller. Fitted with a padlockable rotary handle and blanking shutters, it accepts a plug-in LUCA, LUCB, or LUCL control unit to complete protection for 3-phase motors up to 15 kW at 400 V.

Selection Notes

At 32 A, the LUB32 is the largest TeSys U base that still carries the full 50 kA breaking capacity at 440 V; stepping up to the 38 A LUB38 trades that margin for a lower 25 kA rating. Specify the LUB32 wherever prospective short-circuit current at the installation point is high and the motor load stays at or below 15 kW at 400 V. It accepts the same LUCA, LUCB, and LUCL control units as the smaller LUB12 base.
