- Description
The Schneider Electric LTMTMFM is the main unit of the TeSys Tera motor management system, providing electronic protection, control, and monitoring for single-phase and three-phase AC induction motors up to 810 A. It is powered by 100-240 V AC/DC, communicates over Modbus RTU, and carries 4 digital inputs plus 3 digital outputs for control and fault signalling.

Selection Notes
The main unit carries the Modbus RTU communication port and the protection/metering logic itself, so the current range for the motor it supervises is set by the separately selected current transformer or sensor module rather than by this unit's own terminals. The built-in web server and running-hours/trip-history logging make it the choice over a standalone electronic overload relay when the installation already runs a Modbus RTU network and needs motor statistics rather than a simple trip contact.
Applications
Motor control centers and switchboards where single- and three-phase induction motors up to 810 A need centralized protection, remote monitoring over Modbus RTU, and detailed trip and starting-event history for maintenance planning.
