The Schneider Electric LA9GRD10 is a TeSys Giga remote wear diagnostic module that mounts on top of an LC1G contactor and outputs a 1NO contact for continuous remote monitoring of contact wear, using the contactor's opening-speed as the wear indicator. It flags when contacts need replacing instead of on a fixed maintenance schedule.

Selection Notes

The LA9GRD10 outputs a normally-open (1NO) alarm contact that energizes to signal the fault state, matching PLC inputs wired to see a closed contact on alarm. Where a normally-closed (1NC) fail-safe output is preferred instead, use the LA9GRD01 module.
