The Schneider Electric LA9GRD01 is a TeSys Giga remote wear diagnostic module that mounts on top of an LC1G contactor and outputs a 1NC contact for continuous remote monitoring of contact wear, using the contactor's opening-speed as the wear indicator. It flags when contacts need replacing instead of on a fixed maintenance schedule.

Selection Notes

The LA9GRD01 outputs a normally-closed (1NC) alarm contact, which de-energizes to signal the fault state and fails safe if the module loses power. Where a normally-open (1NO) output better suits the PLC input wiring instead, use the LA9GRD10 module.
