- Description
The Schneider Electric GV4PEM115B is a 3-pole TeSys GV4 motor circuit breaker rated 115 A continuous current with a 25 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 380-415 V AC. It provides thermal-magnetic protection with NFC-adjustable multifunction motor protection for 3-phase motors from 37-55 kW at 400 V, with a 65-115 A thermal setting range and toggle start-stop control.

Selection Notes
Beyond the 65-115 A thermal dial, the multifunction trip unit lets a technician tune short-time delay (Isd, 5-13 x Ir), phase unbalance and loss, ground-fault, locked-rotor and long-start protection over NFC from a smartphone, and accepts 1-2 external SDx modules for alarm and fault differentiation. The trailing B in the catalog number identifies the breaking-capacity class Schneider assigns within the GV4 range (B/N/S step up from economy to high short-circuit withstand); this unit falls in the economy 25 kA tier, so it should be matched to the prospective short-circuit current at the installation point rather than swapped for a lower class to save cost on a feeder with higher fault levels. For the 115 A frame, internal mounting positions accept OF/SD auxiliary contact blocks and MN/MX voltage trip units without changing the breaker's footprint, which keeps a panel design consistent across the motor power range it covers.
