- Description
The Schneider Electric GV4P80B is a TeSys GV4 motor circuit breaker rated 80 A at 690 V AC, combining adjustable thermal protection (Ir 40-80 A) with fixed short-time-delay, phase-unbalance and ground-fault protection for 3-phase motors up to 22-37 kW at 400 V. Breaking capacity reaches 25 kA at 400 V, and it is operated by a rotary handle via EverLink BTR screw terminals.

Selection Notes
Pick the 80 A frame for motors up to 22-37 kW at 400 V; unlike the magnetic-only GV4L/GV4LE breakers, the GV4P's adjustable thermal dial (Ir 40-80 A) and built-in short-time-delay, phase-unbalance and ground-fault protection complete motor protection without a separate overload relay. Choose the matching N-suffix variant instead of this B-suffix one when the installation's prospective fault current at 400 V exceeds 25 kA; both share the same current settings and frame.
