The Schneider Electric GV4P115B is a TeSys GV4 three-pole motor circuit breaker rated 115 A, providing thermal-magnetic protection for 3-phase motors from 37-55 kW at 400 V with a breaking capacity Icu of 25 kA at 400/415 V. A rotary handle gives local start-stop control, and EverLink BTR screw terminals keep contact resistance stable over repeated torque cycles.

Selection Notes

The 115B is the entry breaking-capacity option in the 115 A frame (25 kA at 400/415 V) — specify it on feeders downstream of upstream protection that already limits let-through current, and step up to the 115N (50 kA) or 115S (100 kA) variant when the GV4P sits closer to the incomer with higher prospective fault current.

Applications

Use for direct-on-line motor protection in panels where thermal overload, short-circuit and phase-loss protection must sit in a single rotary-handle device ahead of a GV4P-compatible contactor.
