- Description
The Schneider Electric GV4LE12N is a TeSys GV4 motor circuit breaker rated 12.5 A at 690 V AC, giving magnetic-only protection for 3-phase motors up to 3-5.5 kW at 400 V; it is paired with a separate class 10 or 20 thermal overload relay to complete motor protection. Its magnetic trip is adjustable from 75-175 A, breaking capacity reaches 50 kA at 400 V, and it is operated by a toggle via EverLink BTR screw terminals.

Selection Notes
Pick the 12.5 A frame for motors up to 3-5.5 kW at 400 V; because this breaker only trips magnetically, size the accompanying thermal overload relay (class 10 or 20) to the motor's actual full-load current rather than relying on the breaker alone. The 50 kA breaking capacity at 400 V is common across the whole GV4L/GV4LE range, so frame selection is driven purely by current rating; the GV4LE differs from the GV4L only in using a toggle instead of a rotary handle.
