Schneider Electric GV2LE07 TeSys Deca GV2LE 2.5A 690V Manual Starter and Protector

The Schneider Electric GV2LE07 is a TeSys GV2 manual motor circuit breaker with magnetic-only tripping, rated 2.5 A with a 100 kA breaking capacity at 400/415 V per IEC 60947-2. Its toggle-switch actuator gives local on/off control and short-circuit disconnection for motors up to 0.75 kW at 400/415 V, and the unit doubles as a load-break isolator per IEC 60947-1.

Selection Notes

The GV2LE07 trips on short-circuit current only — its magnetic-only design has no thermal element, so pair it with a separate thermal overload relay when the application needs overload protection, or select a thermal-magnetic GV2ME variant instead. At 2.5 A with a 39 A magnetic trip threshold, it fits motors up to 0.75 kW at 400/415 V; the next current step up in the GV2 range covers larger motors in the same frame. Its 100 kA Icu at 400/415 V lets it sit on a sub-distribution board without an upstream breaker rated beyond typical factory fault levels.

Applications

Used as a manual motor disconnect and short-circuit protector ahead of a contactor in TeSys Deca motor-control assemblies, panel-board motor feeders, and machine-building enclosures where a toggle-operated local isolator is required alongside DIN-rail mounted control gear.
