- Description
The ABB 2CSG152435R1202 ELR96PF is a panel-mount residual current monitor with two changeover contacts, a built-in frequency filter, and a 60% pre-alarm threshold, detecting earth-fault current from 30 mA to 30 A on 110-400 V AC circuits at 50 or 60 Hz. It gives an early warning stage before the main threshold trips a downstream MCB or MCCB.

Selection Notes
The ELR96PF shares the frequency filter and 60% pre-alarm of the DC-capable variant in the same range but keeps the control supply AC-only at 110-400 V, 50 or 60 Hz, which keeps its weight down to 386 g versus the DC-capable unit's 454 g. Specify it on AC-fed panels where filtering is needed to avoid nuisance trips from non-fundamental-frequency fault currents but a DC auxiliary input is not required. Like the other two-contact ELR variants, the pre-alarm contact can flag an approaching fault to a PLC or BMS before the second contact trips the breaker.
