- Description
Combining a 20 A Type B miniature circuit breaker with arc fault detection, the ABB 2CSA275901R9205 S-ARC1 M B20 is a 1P+N, two-module DIN-rail device rated 10 kA breaking capacity under IEC 60898-1, protecting circuits against overload, short-circuit, series arc faults and parallel arc faults, with a higher fault rating than the equivalent base-series B20.

Selection Notes
At 20 A, this is the highest rating in the M, B-curve run supplied here, carrying the same 10 kA rated short-circuit capacity and 10 kA Icu as its lower-current siblings for boards with higher prospective fault current. The Type B trip (3-5x In) still favours resistive and lighting circuits over inrush-heavy loads. Use 20 A only where the branch conductor is sized for it; the 13 A and 16 A M, B-curve variants cover lighter branches.
