Selection Notes
This 20 A rating is the top of the M, C-curve line covered here, with the C-curve trip band (5-10x In) carrying motor or transformer inrush that a B-curve device would read as a fault. Its 10 kA rated short-circuit capacity and Icu give it headroom over the base S-ARC1 C20 for boards with higher prospective fault current. Use 20 A only where the branch conductor is rated for it; the 10 A, 13 A and 16 A M, C-curve siblings serve lighter branches.
