Selection Notes
With a 10 kA rated short-circuit capacity and 10 kA Icu, this M-series device covers boards with higher prospective fault current than the base S-ARC1 can handle at the same 10 A, Type B rating. The B-curve instantaneous trip (3-5x In) keeps it suited to resistive and lighting circuits rather than inrush-heavy loads. Use the 10 A rating where the branch conductor and load match it; the M, B-curve siblings from 6 A up to 20 A scale the same 10 kA fault-current coverage to other branch sizes.
