Selection Notes
The M suffix marks the higher breaking-capacity build: 10 kA Icu and 7.5 kA Ics against 7.5 kA Icu and 6 kA Ics on the standard DS-ARC1 B10 A30, so specify this version where the prospective short-circuit current at the installation point is closer to a distribution transformer or main switchboard. The B curve's 3-to-5 times In trip band still assumes a resistive, low-inrush load; a 10 A circuit with motor or transformer inrush needs the C-curve equivalent instead. Within the M line, higher-current circuits move up to the 13 or 20 A version.
